This Type 2 safety helmet with suspension has an EPS foam interior halo for all-around impact protection. The helmet provides heavy-duty, yet lightweight and comfortable head protection designed to shield the front, back, top and sides of the head from falls, dropped objects or bumping into stationary objects. The compact helmet design improves visibility, and an adjustable chin strap ensures the helmet remains secure to the wearer's head upon impact or sudden movement such as a slip, trip or fall. A padded, breathable and antimicrobial brushed polyester sweatband and top pad lines the sides, forehead and top interior, and is removable for easy replacement. The ventilated, open frame design makes for a cooler safety helmet by releasing heat buildup and allowing air to circulate-reducing perspiration in hot and humid working environments. This safety helmet includes front, rear and side slots for secure attachment of headlamps, fans, earmuff and face shields (sold separately). Ideal for construction and utility job sites, oil and gas, road work, forestry, mining and general site work.
